We win the President's Prize of Hitachi, Ltd. for Premium Technology

Hitachi koki Co., Ltd. is awarded the President's Prize

for Premium Technology 2004 for its outstanding

performance in development, manufacturing

and sale of the pneumatic nailer.

The President's Prize for Premium Technology is

the most honorable prize out of various prizes to be

awarded for advanced technology in the Hitachi group.

Our new typed nailer developed by using advanced

technical method, the remarkable increase of

productivity resulted from drastic renovation of

manufacturing process and the rapid expansion of

market share in the U. S. and other world-wide markets

are major factors that contribute to the award of this prize.

With this prize awarded, we renew our determination to

step up our efforts for the early completion of the project

to combine concurrent engineering with supply-chain

whereby closely interfacing development, manufacturing

and sale, so as to enable us to speedily launch the new products

that maximize the customer satisfaction without interruption.
